Subscriptions and billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us, so cancelling happens on your iPhone:

1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top
2. Tap Subscriptions

3. Tap Nearer

4. Tap Cancel Subscription

You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling during a free trial means you are not charged at all, as long as you cancel before the trial ends.

I was charged and I didn't expect it

Tell us and we will help. Because Apple takes the payment, refunds are requested from Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com — sign in, find Nearer, and choose Request a refund.

Write to us as well. We would rather hear about it than have you feel tricked.

I paid but Nearer still shows the paywall

Open Your space → Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. If it still doesn't come back, email us and we will sort it out.

Will you remind me before the trial ends?

Yes. We send a reminder before your free trial converts, so the charge is never a surprise. If notifications are switched off you won't see it, so it is worth leaving them on for the trial.

Your account and your privacy

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app: Your space → Delete account. It removes your account and everything in it.

If you can't get into the app, email elevatelogiclabsapps@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we will do it for you.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — Apple holds that separately. Please cancel it too, using the steps above.

Is what I write private?

Yes. Your conversations, prayers and saved verses are yours. We never sell them, and we never use them for advertising. The full detail — including every service that touches your data — is in the Privacy Policy.

Is Nearer a real person?

No, and we will never pretend otherwise. Nearer is an AI companion, built to sit with you and to help you find words when they won't come. It is not a pastor, a therapist or a doctor. Every comfort it offers rests on Scripture, named — so you can look it up yourself.

Using the app

The reply is slow, or nothing comes back

Usually a connection problem. Check your signal and try again. The very first message after a quiet period can take a little longer while things wake up. If it keeps happening, tell us what iPhone and iOS version you're on.

Too many notifications, or not enough

Reminders are yours to set in Your space → Reminders. You can change the times, or turn them off entirely. We will never send you a guilt-trip about a day you missed.
